The Birth of the Magic Pro League

Last night at the yearly Game Awards, Wizards of the Coast announced their launch into the esports arena with a $10 Million investment into the Magic Pro League. This league will be centered on the top 32 players in the world, offering full 75k salaried contracts. These players will battle in Mythic Championshps, large cash tournaments on MTG Arena. This is a really exciting time for the game, it's a very uncertain time as Wizards of the Coast has not fleshed out the new look of Organized Play.
